Investing in the future
Jublee, an innovative app for personal retirement funds, emerged as a solution to address the pressing issue of inadequate retirement savings among individuals in the Netherlands. Backed by leading banks, this concept was born out of the recognition that many people were not adequately preparing for their future financial security. Jublee revolutionizes the savings process by leveraging both big and micro-transactions based on users' purchasing behavior.

Through strategic partnerships with establishments, the app offers discounts on everyday purchases, redirecting the saved funds into users' retirement accounts. This ingenious approach not only encourages users to save effortlessly but also rewards them for their prudent financial habits. By seamlessly integrating saving for retirement into daily spending patterns, Jublee empowers individuals to take control of their financial futures and build a nest egg for their later years.
My role
In my role for the Jublee product, I took charge of conducting extensive research and designing the user experience and branding strategies. This involved delving deep into the financial behaviors and saving patterns of freelancers, young adults, and employees who lacked access to traditional retirement funds through their employers. Through comprehensive research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, and data analysis, I gained valuable insights into the unique saving and investing behaviors of these target demographics.

Leveraging these findings, I developed tailored user experiences that resonated with the needs and preferences of our diverse user base. Additionally, I crafted a compelling brand identity that communicated Jublee's mission of making retirement savings accessible and rewarding for all. By combining research-driven design principles with strategic branding initiatives, I played a pivotal role in shaping Jublee into a compelling solution for individuals seeking to secure their financial futures.
UI concept
The UI/UX design process for Jublee was a collaborative effort between our team and ING bank, leveraging their resources and design methods to create a seamless and intuitive user experience. By working closely with ING bank's experts, we were able to incorporate industry-leading practices and insights into our design approach, ensuring that Jublee's interface was not only user-friendly but also aligned with banking standards and regulations. Drawing inspiration from the concept of planting seeds and watching them grow, we developed a visual identity centered around plants and seeds, symbolizing the journey of saving and investing for retirement.

This theme permeated every aspect of the branding, from the logo and color palette to the imagery and messaging, creating a cohesive and engaging brand experience. Through this collaborative process, we were able to marry ING bank's expertise with our design sensibilities, resulting in a UI/UX and branding strategy that resonated with users and communicated Jublee's mission effectively.
